Chongqing Shixian Taibai Group is located in world-known three gorges reservoir—Wanzhou district which is facing the Yangtze River and backing gorgeous Mt. Xiefeng with moisture air and pleasant environment. It’s a excellent nature production base for fermentative liquor.
    In the fall of 1917, Mr. Bao Lianrong--the founder of Shixian Taibai liquor came to Luzhou and purchased mother distillers grains in double cellars(state cellar). Integrating centuries-old brewing technique from Tang Dynasty, we established brewing workshop. When fairy poet Li Bai was exiled and came to Xiya of Wanxian. He liked to recite poem and   play chess with drinking, especially Da Qu Jiu of Wanxian. In order to memorialize Li Bai, the later generations honored him as Shixian(fairy poet) Taibai. That was historic source of Shixian Taibai 
    Development of Shixian Taibai got concern and support of Jia Qinglin—the standing committee member and the  chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference , He Guoqiang—the member of Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the secretary of Central Organization Department of the Communist Party of China, Han Qide--vice chairman of National People's Congress, Pu Haiqing--the chief of the office of Construction Commission of State Department, Huang Zhendong—the secretary of the Party committee of Chongqing, Wang Hongju—the mayor of Chongqing, Nie Weiguo—the vice secretary of the Party committee of Chongqing, Ma Zhengqi—the standing committee member of the Party committee of Chongqing and the secretary of the Party committee of Wanzhou district and Wu Zhenglong—vice secretary of the Party committee and the head of Wanzhou district,ect leaders.     Occupying 300-odd mu land, the group owns 2000 employees, 12 liquor tasters in national and provincial level with annual liquor production capacity of 30 thousand tons. Shixian Taibai is a outstanding centuries-old distillery with first liquor brand in Chongqing and one of top 500 big-size drink suppliers in China integrating processing, transportation and selling of starter propagation, brewing, mixing, mineral water and beverage.  Passed SO9002 and ISO9001:2000 quality system certification early or later, the group possesses over two hundred varieties of liquor to meet various types of demands in different regional markets across China with unique style “strong fragrance, pure & mild taste, fresh feeling, long aftertaste ”. Since Shixian Taibai was certificated as the liquor in state banquet of 10th National Day in Qingdao Liquor Tasting Meeting in 1959, it had been awarded high-quality liquor of China, state high-quality liquor, gold award in liquor comparison, gold award in China famous liquor expo. , well-known liquor of Sichuan province and , well-known liquor of Chongqing, ect over 140 honors. the group entered top 50 industrial enterprises of Chongqing in 2002 and continued to hold that post and became of top 100 liquor suppliers in 2003. 
    In 2003, the group achieved industrial production value of nearly 300 million RMB and sales avenue of over 250 million RMB and tax & interest of over 40 million RMB. Sales revenue, gross industrial output value and tax & interest,ect main economic indexes are increased by over ten times of which before three years. Average wages of the staff increased from 2400 Yuan before three years ago to 11100 Yuan, and living standard of the staff kept improving as well as three civilization establishment step on new stage, which was titled as “The Speed of Shenzhen”. Shixian also became a backbone enterprise and a big one in tax and tax and interest in  industrial economy of Wanzhou district.
